Framework Guidelines

The Framework for Collaboration (“Framework”) is an agreement among Finance Canada, the Joint Forum of Financial Market Regulators (“Joint Forum”), an umbrella group representing federal and provincial regulators in the Canadian financial services industry, and the three OmbudServices that make up the Financial Services OmbudsNetwork (“FSON”). FSON is comprised of  the OmbudService for Life & Health Insurance (OLHI)-formerly known as the Canadian Life and Health Insurance OmbudService (CLHIO), the General Insurance OmbudService (GIO), and the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI).
